Ok. I’ve been told that I’m a slacker. But in my defense, it’s been a very busy month and my therapy seems to be working so I haven’t been blogging as much.
So let’s catch up
I went to my primary Doctor. He looked at all the stats and say it was a TIA. So he referred me to a neurologist. I had an EEG and MRI and am now waiting for the results. The neurologist said if he found something urgent he would call soon. But otherwise I have another appointment with him after Thanksgiving.
I got my first Media pass from a friend. So I went to photograph “The Tribe” William & Mary’s Football team. I’m not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, but why did it have to be a night game? Ok It was good practice. And I did learn a lot .How not to stand to close to the sideline. Just in case the running back wants to run out of bounds right where you are standing. To push up the ISO to 1600.
That was Helpful in Photographing the Dallas/Redskins game. This was a very cold game. These are my posse. My peeps, the people I hang with on game day.
I’m also staying steady at 130 lbs. I have to say I’m still amazed at the fact that I can go into a clothing store and by off the rack Small size things and have them fit. Ok Bro this one is for you. I have to admit I bought 2 pairs of Ralph jean size 8.and I like them.

My visit to the ER

Sometimes if we are lucky we find out how much time we don’t have left. Sometime we come .Face to face with our own mortality. Yesterday I found myself in the ER of Sentara medical center –Williamsburg. Why… because my realtor lady came over and noticed I had a very red face and veins popping out of my forehead and I was sweating and my speech was blurred and I was incoherent. She asked me if I wanted her to call 911. I said “no”. So she insisted to drive me to the ER and get me checked out. I agreed to that I really couldn’t get a hold of what was happening, it felt surreal. We got to ER and they immediately checked me in. I started to go hypothermic. They couldn’t get a temp on me under the tongue or arm pit so they had no choice but to do the r___tal. It was 92.3 degrees. They warmed me up. All awhile the doctor asking me if I knew where I was, more and more I was giving them details of where I was so I was coming out of what ever it was, I that was in. At one point they called it a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). A TIA is a "warning stroke" or "mini-stroke" that produces stroke-like symptoms but no lasting damage. Or the Doctor thought it might be low blood sugar.( which check out to be OK). Needless to say I spent the night in the Hospital. Which I have to say was surprising. This Hospital has No visitors hour s (they are allowed to come and go at any time) each room is a private room with a couch that folds out to a sleeper bed ( for any visitors) . ..They have internet and flat screen TV. Plus Meals are room service (made to order). Boy have we come along way. And yes they discharged me today. I just have to take it easy the next couple of days.

Didnt realize it's been almost a month. I'm doing well. Alot of possitive comments on the weight.Since bar Harbor. I've been to the crab festival.

I am a child of the 70’s
I love who I love
I love that I have a voice and that I have a choice ( I did not have that one election, Because of redistricting ) I failed to have a choice in that election, I though I Was in one place but they changed that place and I failed to register It was the only time in my life that I felt I was Not American, I know felons can’t vote. They aive up that right when they are convicted. I’m not a felon. I want my voice heard! I do not want a woman that doesn’t convey my feeling in the White House I am pro choice and pro life ( they Are different issues). I don’t care about the color of your skin as long as you represent me fairly by giving me your agenda with respect and truthfulness I deserve. I am an American!
I love the fact that I’m a child of the 70’s
No discrimination.
I want world peace, a world leader.
I want lower gas prices with out a president that is an oil man, I want justice for every one not just the rich.
I had gastric bypass 14 months ago.
Now you make your choice where do you stand?

I went with a friend to the Williamsburg Winery. If my siblings ever come to visit me, it'll be a must do on the tour. We had a tour, Wine tasting and lunch under the pergila. It was very good!

Yesterday, we had our semiannual Division Meeting and we had a 20 minutes video called “Celebrating what’s right with the World”. Every one of my Flickr Friends should watch it. It is to say the least Inspiring . Check it out @ http://www.celebratetraining.com/. Today I went out and looked at a different world.
And this was at Lunchtime. I also did my 13 month post op photo and Yes my dear Brother that is a Ralph shirt! LOL
