OK I finally made to the first squad! Yea!

On saturday I went to the Virginia Beach Blitz held by the Redskins every year. I got some of my photos signed and got some compliments

Last night was weird to say the least. I wanted to be gone for 48 hours and do what I wanted. So I called Cathy ( My Friend) and we went out to see John (a fantasy Musician that I’ve liked forever, OK 1982) so we went to this place that he said he would be playing. He did not show. Other guys were playing and I notice a couple of them eyeing me. ME! My girlfriend Cathy is the HOT one.,not ME! But now I guess I was.. 2 of them came over to talk to me . It was Karma. After all these years , they said I looked 35.. I told them I was 51. The guy so bolted. I didn’t see him the rest of the night. I don’t care for a man who is intimidated.
Then I have my friend, football buddy ( Patrick), showing up @ 9:30p, Oh wait he didn’t show, I called him to see where he was and he came, but he sent Clyde(I’ll tell you about him later) to be a front man for Pat, since is was not going to make it in time. I felt flattered, but when he got there I kissed him (not the brother/ sister type of kiss) the way you’d kiss a boyfriend. He didn’t respond. I f he hadn’t been sending mixed messages, I wouldn’t have done that. Let me explain. During the football season. I’ve seen Pat with another women and his wife and back with the other woman( Lisa). I like Lisa and I liked Shelly. Last year Lisa was a part of the group (football ). I like her and have no problems with her but I wanted to know what Pat wanted. Not unreasonable. He told me last night he want his true love Lisa. I’m happy for them but will make sure that I know to keep it at that level. I will not feel stupid again. I’ll make sure the man I want wants me just as much with out the games or mixed messages.

Sunday was graduation. After that we go from 65 MPH to a dead stop. I wanted to sleep in so I did till I got a phone c all from Mom. 9:22am. It was a beautiful day for sleeping in. .All rainy and dark. Just slip into my bed with the chocolate t shirt sheets the big comforter and big pillows all around so I could just nest. I love my bed now. Dam, I had to get up, if only to feed the cats.
I had plans to start the redesign of my all red & white bathroom. Turn it into a spa retreat, but I have to prime the walls they are TOO RED to sell the house. So I finally started Priming @3:30pm. Then faithfully to the point of disruption. Mom calls I’m on a ladder painting the ceiling, asked her if it was important. She said yes. She got an offer from TI. She was excited; I just want to be left alone. I have Projects to finish. I feel so bad; I really just need a day or two to myself. Have you ever wanted to disappear? Just not be in touch with anyone for 48 hours. Well that 2 day is coming. I’m not saying when or where but its coming. Please don’t get me wrong, I love my family and my Mom. I was feeling a little depressed because my step son who use to call me on Mother’s day … didn’t. I think he only did that because of Jim.

Mom came in on Friday. We had pizza had cheese and crackers. Stayed in that night.
Saturday went shopping. And we took Kelly out to an Adoption round up. She was cute but likes to throw up in the car. It was a very easy weekend. Mom said I look skinny and taller. Cool! Mom left Sunday. I found a tick on me. so I went to the Store and got some flea and tick meds for the dog and cats. Put it on them then Colin’s mouth started watering lots for about an hour. He was licking the meds off his back and ingesting it. Yikes! I got flustered and washed him off even cutting the hair off the area. Getting it on my hands. I tried to wash him, but nothing was working. I finally decide to take him to the emergency vets in Yorktown ( 40 Minutes away).They had us in there for about 6 hours and really couldn’t do anything but watch him. ($168.00)So that’s what I had to do all night but when I got home Cathy the other cat was very agitated as well and having respiratory problems. So I had 2 cats to worry about. Plus in getting the Meds off of them I wipe it on my face (accidentally). So whatever they were going through I was also and it wasn’t pretty. I felt like I was on speed. Sleep was very hard to get.
The next morning I got Colin and took him to the regular vet. I left him there and had to go back home in case they wanted to see Cathy. She was in hiding mode, which means she wasn’t feeling well. I crashed on the couch while waiting. When they were done with Colin they Called and said everything looked good. So I went to pick him up ($189.00). The I went home got in bed and slept the whole night long. It felt good. I tried to take the Happy pills my PC prescribed for me but I get dry mouth, have to drink water then I feel nauseas. So I’m not taking them I will say I had a Massage Friday and that is better than a glass of wine!

Last week I had Wednesday all set up for the carpet man and the refrigerator man .First off the carpet guy informs me that he is doing 4 rooms, not just the rec room!.Now I told home depot I only wanted the one room done, they measured the other room for future Hardwood.. The other 3 rooms were not prepared to have new carpet. Too much furniture stored in them from the rec room. So we got it straight. They did the rec room and are coming back Tuesday to do the other rooms. Then the Frig guy comes and can’t get the Valve off to the ice maker. So we go searching I even went under the house to find it, buy quickly got out when I saw the shedded snake skin on one of the pipes. He is pressuring me to do something. So I had him put the New frig in the garage. In trying to find which valve it was he was turning the copper line to see if it slowed down. It never did. Then they left. I went into the kitchen and there was water all over the floor! There was a slow leak in the copper line. I had to find a Plummer quick!. I found one in Gloucester. He came out and was very nice. He had to cut the main water off to the house to fix it and he showed me where it was. I know our Home inspector gave us a house manual. I just can’t find it. And Jim is in Africa. Where I can’t really call because it’s $10.00 a minute .my realtor shows up at this time. The house is a mess but she likes the changes and gives me some advice. De clutter and de personalize. OK so I get on the phone to home depot after the plumber left to schedule the install of the new frig.. The representative I got was new and was asking advice in how to handle this request( from a supervisor) but she forgot to put me on hold so I could hear the conversation. The supervisor was asking her to ask me why I singed the papers if the job hadn’t been done; She kept repeating this to the trainee. At this point I’m totally stressed! And this supervisor won’t get on the phone to talk to me herself, so I yelled into the phone. “Why don’t you ask me, pick up the bleeping phone and talk to me!!!!” I just about had it. Well the trainee called GE and set up a date. Today to get the fridg installed. The day after I went to Home depot and talked to Linda ( who is the carpet set up lady. And asked if I could do the hallway instead of the 2 rooms upstairs and she said it would be no problem then I talked to the store manager about the problems I had with the frig people and customer service. He made sure I was the first service call Monday morn. Yes today and I love it.

Saturday was a good day I was out in the backyard with Kelly and Tigger came up and started playing with us so it just very much a Zen feeling a plus that it was a beautiful day. I have them up on my Flickr are Web account Sunday was kind of interesting Donald came over to help move some furniture and get the rec room cleared out because on Wednesday where having the carpet redone or I'm having the carpet redone , then we went out to a very nice restaurant called "Ikeban". This is a sushi bar in Chinese restaurant in very good Kung pao chicken I've had in this area in a long time.
Monday came into work and Sherry was so excited she saw on 60 minutes a guy she thought was my surgeon and sure enough it was Dr. Hutcher was on 60 minutes talking about gastric bypass and how it relates to weight-loss and diabetes eight it was just so fun to see him I'll put a link on the end of the blog anyways.


today I get this new program computer program today as well called NaturallySpeaking which is very unnatural is now I don't have to type anything I just sit here and talk to myself which is kind of strange but I'm not really talking to myself because it's all going on the a paper on the word and just it just goes I don't know how does it but it just goes thinking about things in a field and my life has been a little chaotic lately I know that because my rec room furniture is all over the place. The couch is in the kitchen facing the refrigerator. Donald's a very nice guy he's one of my students that I've known forever okay probably about three years. so helpful and just such a doll I've been through his breakup piece than through mine he is just a really good friend and I really appreciate that because right now I don't think I could really handle anything else this time now as far as tomorrow.
I have a lot of things to do I have a reception that there were having for the student workers here at UC I have to Go to Ukrop's and get all the food and make sure thing looks great and then I've been asked by Arramark to go do some photos at the taste of Williamsburg which should be pretty cool because it's in the Great Wolf Lodge and I will be doing my thing which is take my photographs .I've went through a dry spell after I turned down a couple of things a couple jobs but I found It really wasn't . last Friday we had had a cake cutting up in one of the rooms and being needed some photos taken so I put on my professional hat and went out and took the photo just as professional as I could it's just an amazing time right now and how might that I am all over the place or else get it is this seems very disjointed I apologize that's the way I feel I feel scattered I feel together and I feel left I feel right I feel all over the place. So with that I am going to stop right here and see what's down the road and laugh at it and throw it out onto the blog .

Now that Jim is Pretty much Gone, I have responsibilities. Last Saturday I asked my next door neighbor to show me how to turn on the Ride on lawn mower. So he did and before the thunder storms came I went out and cut the grass. I have to say it’s like riding a go cart. Very fun. No wonder men keep this to themselves.. Then I went into the house and finished the Plumbing project Jim always told me not to touch his bathroom. Well, it’s now touched. I put down a new floor and put in new hardware on the doors and put in a new faucet.
Check out the photos. Also I’m putting in a new floor in the Foyer. Just to brighten it up. It had the 1980’s look.. Project #3 is the carpet in the rec. room. I brought a cooler into the rec room for a football game and it leaked causing the sub flooring to warp. Well Jim cut the carpet and cut out the warp, leaving a big hole and a cut carpet. , so I went to Home depot, we are getting new carpeting next Wednesday. Project #4- updating the Kitchen, all the appliances are black except for the refrigerator. So I bought a new side by side in black(to be delivered next Wednesday). I still have some hardware I have to pick up. But otherwise that’ll be it for the kitchen.
Now Project #5 my bathroom. When we first got the house the first thing I did was to change the floor and paint my bathroom RED. Well to give it more of that selling point the red is Bye bye and I’m painting it a light blue, trim in heirloom white. Putting down a new hardwood flooring honey, I’m going for the Spa Look. I think this along with the gardening projects I still have left to do will keep me out of trouble.

Saturday I had to go in and handle the Parents board meeting. When I got home I wanted to take some time with my foster puppy. OK she’s a 3 year old Beagle whose name was Siobhan then they changed it to Kelly. Which she really is a Kelly. At least she responses to that name. We went for 2 walks and she seemed to be good until we went for the third walk, at dusk. She got out of her collar and took off. I went after her but she was on a scent. It was turning dark and I lost her. First, off I don’t consider myself a dog person, but in the shelter she looked so scared. She kept shaking. I had to take her home. I have two cats and they seem to do well with dogs, not with other cats. I thank god for the animal control officer who lives on the next street her and her husband searched with me. SO to top off things it was cold and raining and I don’t think i was really where in the right type of clothing. That night I opened up all the gates of my back yard and turned on all the lights put out the little hotdogs she loves. The next morning 6:30am . I’m out looking for her again, then My soon to be ex comes in wonder why all the lights are on why everything is open. He calms down once I explain, then he goes around turning everything off and again after I vacuumed, he finds something on the floor to pick up. I think he’s OCD. After he leaves I went back out on foot. No luck. I was on the computer, printing out flyers, putting them up. Then about 2:30. The rain had let up and little. So I went the opposite way that she went. Almost wishing her to be in a corner shaking. I turn at the end of the road and BOOM. She‘s right in front of me. I jumped out of the car and call her to come. Bad choice, she ran through a field toward this house that sit on the river. So I get back in the car drive down this guys drive way hoping she doesn’t find an exit she is in the marsh behind this person’s house so I went into the marsh. Hoping to good god the people in the house don’t come out and shoot me thinking I a robber.. SO Kelly in is submit mode wagging her tail. I get her and take her home, gave her a bath, then we both sacked out of the couch her laying on top of me. Licking my face I think we came to an understanding. She knows now she is loved and cared for in this household.

Now comes, Monday I was ready to take on the world, one problem! I caught an inner ear infection and started throwing up . Of course nothing was in my stomach. But dry heaves and dizziness. I was on the floor of my office when Jeff walked in. I couldn’t even focus. Rich and Jeff took me home with my car in tow. When we got there I crashed on the couch. I don’t know how long it was till I got up the gumption to go upstairs to the bedroom. But I will say once I got there I don’t think I got up till this morning.. I’m feeling a little. Kelly’s doing well in the back yard. She’s letting be the Leader of the pack. Very cool! Plus I ‘ve lost 3 pounds ( stress will do that to you) I hate borrowing money from the soon to be ex, but I GOOD Football Friend let me down by not paying his $1000.00 bill on time. So I had to ask Jim for some funds. Oh well,

in this life their are people that love you and 

disappoint you. I find they are the people you 

have the most history with your family and your 

friends. I have also looked at the decisions I've 

made that may have come to the same 

conclusion. I have had a friend for 27 year but he

 has a financial bound to me and he is pressing 

his obligation. I'm ready let go of him 


If he can’t fulfill his obligation at 48 when can he? 

He is a football buddy. 

Fyi: Snider want his money by March 31, I f my 

buddy cant do that knowing that it comes 

around each year @ this same time what the hell 

can I do? I love him and would hate to cut him 

off but I'm in total financial; mode.  

And I hope in this life that I have not 

disappointed anyone ( @ least not those close to me.)

Monday Morning you sure look fine….. Well we are starting off right. I‘ve got No email! Our server is down..Bummer Any way last week was start projects week. I started the floors in the downstairs bathroom (formerly known as Jim’s Bathroom). And I’m now going to do the alcove. Got some projects of my own. In my bathroom I have to prime it. And recover the RED. That’s ok. If I get these done I think it’ll up the value of the house. I have a foster puppy. She is very cute and very scared. Last night she woke me up about 3am.She howls. She’s a beagle

I wish people here at work could be in my shoes for a day. At least to get them to realize that last minute request are a pain in the butt. There is a reason I have a 5 days’ notice on my form. . And I always tell people that it is easier to cancel then it is to add equipment. People are so rude.
