Just an update

Where do I start?? I feel wonderful. I went to curves today and I weighed in. I am down 47 pounds from before surgery on their scale. Whoo Hoo. I am happy. I still have had no problems eating, just sometimes a little low on the protien, but I'm working on that one.
I cleaned out some of the clothes in my closet. Phase I. I was at a 24/26 before surgery and before school this year I purchased two size 18's and a 20 --I'll take it.
One little funny moment from my daughter. She is 6 and says what's on her mind. She says to me the other morning, "Mommy, when is your surgery going to start working, you don't look any different?" My husband and I started cracking up. Then, that evening, or a few later, she walks over to my husband and pats his tummy (which is sticking out as he sat in the recliner) and says, "So, how's it goin'? You havin' a boy or a girl?" I almost wet my pants I was laughing so hard. --See after that I had to clean my closet out. I needed to have my own wow moment. I am so blessed. God sure has given me a wonderful opportunity. -and wonderfully funny children.
I will try to update after my "offical" dr. appt. I must say that I think I like the scale at Curves better. It seems to be lower than my Dr.'s. We will see. The important part is that I already feel 100% better and I have more energy. I can't wait until I lose about 50 more to see how I feel. I like being the one to lead our family walks instead of the one always falling behind!!!

I will update again soon, I don't have a scale, so I am not sure how to handle that one. My next follow up is not until the end of Sept. I guess I can weigh at Curves once I start going again(after I heal a bit more) and at school once it starts. I don't want to obsess about the poundage, I want to feel better. I am feeling better, even losing a little weight. I feel good mentally and phsically. Walking is great and my feet aren't killing me know, we will have to see how that goes once school starts.
