I attended two seminars. June 20th I went to one at Methodist hospital. I was initally impressed with Dr. R. Davis. I attended another on June 23rd and was really impressed with Dr. Marvin. I have decided to go with Marvin.
Today I got calls from Methodist and Dr. Marvin's offices. They called to tell me that I am covered by my insurance. I also found out I will have to pay a maximum of $3100. I will have to do a 6 month diet, which I have started.
I am excited to be getting the process started.

I joined OH a couple of days ago and I have enjoyed reading all of the profiles and posts. I have been reading the post on the Texas Message Board.
I have a bonus coming from my job in May 2008. I want to use that to pay the out of pocket expenses that will not be covered by insurance. I told my husband that I wanted to use my bonus for it and he said that it was the lazy way out. His opinion is that diet and exercise will fix it. He wants to use MY bonus to buy a new truck. He also said that it might cause a divorce if I go through with it.
I have started gathering the information I need to submit to insurance. I will be attending Dr. Davis' seminar on the 20th and Dr. MArvin's on the 23rd, and I have an appointment with my doctor on July 12th to get the ball rolling.
I know this is the right decision for me so I guess I will let the chips fall where they may.
