Lisa came through her surgery just fine today, August 29. She had the laproscopic and was thrilled that they didn't have to cut on her. She is to be up and walking tomorrow. Although she had some pain, she was in very good spirits when I left her tonight.
Thanks you all for your prayers and support.

Wishing you the very best of luck. I too hope to have this done one day. My sister had surgery about 2 yrs ago in Minnesotaago. She has had wonderful success with losing and keeping her weight off. Her health has improved immensley. My niece also just had this surgery in the last 2 months in Germany and is doing very well. I am needing to find a new primary care doctor and would like one that I know has referred a patient on the same type of insurance, do you mind me asking who your primary care doctor is? At your convenience if you would reply to [email protected]. Would love to hear on your progress. Good Luck and my prays will be with you on the 29th.
Wishing you much luck and success on your surgery. Always remember that this is a life altering change and that you did what was best for you. Never second guess your decesion, take whatever comes your way in stride. Through the good days and the bad, hang in there, the end result is WONDERFUL!!! Adrienne
