"Dr. Augustus Lyons is awesome!! My first experience with Dr. Lyons was for a minor surgery on my shoulder and I was extremely comfortable with him. Once we finished talking about my shoulder, I asked him about RNY as there was a lady in the lobby that was talking about him doing her surgery and how pleased she was with him. His bedside manners are outstanding and he's gave me the comfortable feeling.rnOnly one thing I didn't like is that he pretty much told me I had to quit smoking or we couldn't do the surgery ... GUESS WHAT... I'm going on 5 months SMOKE FREE!!! TY DR. L!!!!!!!!!! (yes I'm still mad LOL) Office staff... they are pretty good. Bariatric Coordinator Tammy Beaumont... OMG what can I say about Tammy! She's been in our shoes and knows how hard it is. She's been there every step of the way with me and I can't thank her enough! From every experience with him so far I'm VERY impressed! I would and have recomended him to others. "
"The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The nurses during my stay were outstanding!!! Pam and Maricella... OMG I can't thank them enough! I had a volunteer come by to give me a paper Tuesday morning and I think I hurt his feelings cause I told him I didnt want one... later that afternoon he came to my room with one thing in his hand (earlier he had a whole cart of things) he said you look like you hurt honey... I have a pillow for you to give you some comfort. He must have been about 80 but that man melted my heart. Funny thing is they are ALL LIKE THAT at AMH!!!"
