I know we have some medical people on our board, I do not understand my labs, can someone explain? hemoglobin 11, rbc 3.8, mchc 30, wbc 4, iron 18, ibc 471, saturation % 4, ferritin 8, co2 22--- these are the only labs that are not normal, but I just don't understand. I am taking iron 3x a day and my Dr is talking IM iron injections or an iron infussion. Any insight would be apriciated. Thanks Guys! Hello~ ***ANGEL FLYIN' IN*** I got to talk to Sandi last night. She had her Open-Rny with Dr.Aguirre in Ensenada,Mexico on Tuesday. Well first I talked to Dr.Aguirre and he said everything was perfect as far as Sandi's surgery goes, but she was in Ensenada by herself and the morphine was making her sad and depressed and sick as well. He knew she was lonely, so asked if he set it up for her would I give her a call to talk to her. Dr.Aguirre was so upset about her being depressed he was just beside himself. I can not tell you how caring of a Dr. he is. He has to be by far the sweetest person I have ever had the pleasure to meet, and on top of all that my surgeon. So I called Sandi at the arranged time. She said she was feeling GREAT, no pain, but she was having side affects from the morphine making her sick and depressed and that she felt so sorry for Dr.Aguirre because he was trying so hard to make her feel better but she knew the morphine needed to wear off. She said she was trying to make him understand but it was hard to do when you start crying in the middle of trying to convince him. She is being released from the hospital today. Dr.Aguirre said he was going to try to plan some things for them to do together being she was alone in Mexico, he said maybe he would take her to his house to meet his wife and kids and spend some time there, and than show her around Ensenada. Hang in there Sandi.*****Welcome to the other side***********
