Hey everyone! I had my RNY on Monday the 3rd and came home on the 6th. I feel totally great. I have almost no pain, although I take a pain med at night just in case. I had a breeze of a time in the hospital and recovery has been so easy. My incision is beautiful (as far as incisions go, lol) and is healing nicely. I am on clear liquids until next Thursday and then I begin full liquids for a month. I *love* sugar free popcicles and jello. I am so happy I did this. Good luck to all of the pre-ops and healing vibes to all of my fellow post ops. Take care everyone!!!!!.. Sarah

This will be the worst part of surgery, I have a feeling. -- Sarah C. This may be the easy part sorry to tell you, but "a girl has to do what a girl has to do" so says my 7 year old granddaughter. Best wishes for a successful surgery and easy recovery.

I get the phospha soda treatment too. I know it will be worth everly last disgusting drop, but geeze, who's the Sadist that invented this stuff? "Ginger-lemon"? I think not. Good luck tomorrow Sarah, I go in on Tuesday. I'll say a prayer for you.

I will be in your shoes next Monday. It will be soooo worth one day of ickyness and a lifetime of unhappiness! Hang in there! You will get thru it just fine! And ya never know, you might be sitting here saying the same thing to me next week! haha God Bless!
