I am also scheduled for Feb 3 for an open RNY, I can't believe how fast that day is coming. I think about it every day, as I do each difficult thing I think, next summer this is going to be so much easier! Simple things like tying my shoes, or going up and down the steps to the family room. I'm sending my 14 yr old skiing this Fri, I plan to go with her next year! Good luck to you and I will say a prayer for both of us.

hi Sarah, Best wishes on your upcoming surgery!! I remember how happy, nervous, scared and excited I was just before mine. It is the best thing you can do for yourself, it is hard in the beginning but you'll do GREAT! You're in my thoughts and prayers....hugs!

Congratulations! We have the same date so we'll be entering the other side at about the same time. I wish you well on your surgery. If you're like me you are hoping that the month of January flies by like it usually does because it's the beginning of a new year. I can't wait to start a new life!!! I'm sure that you feel the same. yeeeaahhhhhhhh!!! you got a date!! I'm so happy for you!! Just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your surgery. May it be uneventful and your recovery quick and as painfree as possible. Just think, it really is going to be a whole "new" year. A happy, healthier, thinner one at that!
