In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.

Sarah, tomorrow is the big day! I have a story for you, loosely based on the Movie "The Wizard of OZ" Today Sarah picture yourself as Dorothy up in the air swirling with the tornado (preop) tomorrow when you wake up you will have landing in Munchkin city, right smack dab on top of the wicked witch of the FAT! Glinda the good witch of the north (surgeon) will greet you for your journey. You are told that when you wake up your journey will begin. All you have to do is place one foot on the skinny brick road! And by doing so one step at a time and following the skinny brick road (doing exactly what the surgeon/Glinda tells you to do) you will step by step reach the Emerald City (goal). I am a visual learner and it helps me to put things into concrete terms. I hope this story entertains you but also tells you that you can make it. Like the scarecrow and the tinsman and the cowardly lion we are all here to help you complete your journey. Good luck and see you on the other side. Suzza

Hi Sarah! Just read your profile and we have some things in common. I'm in Grad school and my weight is really taking a toll on my ability to get my education...I keep getting sick. I too selected OSU for surgery for its pre and post operation procedures. I was scheduled for surgery February 10th but got sick and now I'm scheduled for April 7th, but my house was already filled with pudding, jello and mashed potatoes! I'll check out your site to see how you do after surgery! Best Wishes!
