Well it has been a while since I have been on here, but just remember they always say no news is good news! I am doing and feeling great. In all I have, as of this morning, lost 103 lbs. That is just crazy to me. Doesn't seem possible to me. Some of the weight loss was from before my surgery, but most of it is from since. It will be 4 months since surgery on the 19th of this month and at the time of surgery i weighed 371 and I am now 280 lbs. Do you all realize how good it feels to say I am in the 200's. I was trying to lose around 100 lbs before a wedding I have to go to on the 18th and I have done it. YEAH ME!!! Hope everyone is doing and feeling as good as I am!

Well had another appointment on Friday with the nutritionist and again it went great. At my last appointment I was at 351 lbs and this time I was at 332 lbs. Thats another 19 lbs gone. So in all it has been 51 lbs lost, 39 since surgery. Not only am I feeling better everyday but I am also looking better. I have a wedding to attend in August and am hoping to have lost about 100 lbs by then, I am half way there. With 2 1/2 months to go....wish me luck!
first post op appointment

My first post-op appointment was 2 weeks after my surgery and everything was great. My scars are almost non-existent and I feel wonderful. I was 383 lbs at my heaviest and 371 lbs pre-op, and yes I knew I lost some weight because I could feel it, but to my shock I lost 20 lbs. Just 2 weeks after surgery I am down to 351 lbs. AMAZING!! Now it has been 2 weeks since that appointment and I have not stepped on a scale yet. I think I have lost more but am kinda scared to weigh myself. I don't want to be disappointed. I have heard many post-op people talk about the weight coming off so fast it's almost scarey. I don't feel like my weight is coming off that fast. So sometimes it makes me wonder if I am doing something wrong or what. But people tell me they can see the difference and I feel more energenic everyday. So something good must be happening. I know it will take a while before I can really see the change myself. For now I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and stay positive. I FEEL WONDERFUL!!!
