Dr Appointment update...

Had my dr's appointment yesturday with my surgeon. All went well. They weighed me in at 180... which I've been bouncing from 178-180 this past week... When the nurse went to check my blood pressure she said "oh you have small arms I need a smaller cuff" ... Now that was a first for me. Often times at my OB/GYN appointments they'd have to go find the "large" cuff.... The appointment overall went fine... Dr Srikanth was really pleased with my progress. Said to come back in a month and have my labs done again... (appointments with him are monthly for the first year and labs are every 3 months for the first year). As he was leaving he asked me if I attended the support group meetings, I told him I have been going to one in Auburn, and occasionally have attended theirs at his office... He asked me if I'd be interested in coming to the seminars on Mondays... these are the seminars for people interested in having the surgery... So I guess he was asking me if I'd be interested in speaking to the WLS (Weight Loss Surgery)... wow. that was pretty cool, and something I'd not really thought of. To be one of those "success stories" that people go "i wanna be like that"... then he asked me if I'd be willing to sign a release and have before / after pictures... Made me feel really great. Just wanted to share.
