2 months post-op & many other life changes

Jun 04, 2013

Welp...I've successfully made it through to my 2 month post-op. It has been a crazy road thus far. I haven't had any major challenges with food or drinks, been able to drink alcohol on occasion, BUT I'm still stuck at 260 lbs.   It's still 20 lbs down since surgery but I was thinking I would have lost a little more by now.

I resigned from my job after 5 years of dedication. My last day was yesterday!  It was emotional but I know it was the best thing for me to do for me, my health, my livelihood, my sanity, & my family.  I know that God will make a way because I resigned without having another job lined up.  I know...I know...Why the heck would I do that?  Well, like I said I had to do it for m & my family.  I know that I will find something else that will be even better.

So, I guess this will now give me more time to have my behind in the gym.  I really want to get a personal trainer but finances will not handle that right now.

I've gotta get back to eating healthy and ensuring I'm getting enough water in.  Due to not doing this, I have kidney stones right now. AGH!!! The agony & pain is ridiculous although I am glad I have a high tolerance for pain.
