Its been forever since I said anything on my page!! Sorry!!  I have recently gained 10 lbs., I'm up to 164, I want to be at 145, so I joined a Gold's gym, and I'm trying to work out at least 5 days a week. I love Zumba and Pilates, but I guess I need either that Birkam yoga, the one that makes you sweat. I'm dying to get this excess off of me, come hell or high water, its coming off! I've been getting up at 0500, to get to a 0530 am class and doing it yawning all the way thru class, I'm going to work it! Still trying to go to the track daily, two miles walk one, run one!! I'm trying to get back into lifting weights consistently!
I have got to get the last 20 or more off of me, please pray for me!! I've re-cleaned out my cupboards and the freezer, I guess some of us make the mistake, of thinking that you can eat anything, after this.

Checking, in Family!!

Today, woohooo I came in @ 154,its been a minute but its all good. My weight has consistently stayed between 156-161 for the past few months, I am that one that wants to stop @ 140, so I haven't worked out that much but I do walk alot. I actually ran today, its been awhile since I've done that either. Years ago, I was a diehard Hard-Body, I loved working out and running, then I moved to a big city. Everything is here but spread out, found a gym that I loved but of course it was the farthest away. I'm going to do better, I just don't want to get really small, I still want to build up my butt, my last resort with that will be the Lypo-Transference of my remaining body fat. I still don't have have any new addictions, I've always loved the things that I still do, SHOPPING, I don't miss eating all that excess. I love the fact that I get full, and stop as opposed to before. I would eat myself silly, for n reason. My reasoning was I'm getting my $'s worth, of course. Thank God, for RNY!! Hello, Family!

Hey ya'll it is two days past Thanksgiving, and I'm "Livin La Vida Loca" I weighed in at my lowest so far, 154.2, yeah. I can wear some 6's snug like I like, but I claimed a size 8.  So its all good, with me. I'm loving my RN-Y, I love the fact that I get full and go on. Also, that on occassion I have to remind myself to eat, a lil something. I'm fortunate that I have friends and family, that are riding with me on this journey to self improvement. As, you all know I'm a shopaholic, so I lucked up on my Christmas shopping for others by buying so much at the end of last winter, banking on wearing all these lil sweater dresses and such, that I have Christmas, knocked out for those sisters of mine. I'm so glad that we all have this love of clothing and that they love my taste.  As you all can see I hardly ever take pictures, so as soon as I get some new ones, I'll be sure to post them.

Sorry!!!

Hello Family, I am terrible, updating every six months, or so!! I now weigh between 155-159, I was hoping to be at 140, but I like the thickness that this weight gives me, so I'm happy. My surgeon said your body knows what size it wants to be, I like this size alot better than the other. I'm in size 8's or 10's, more 8's though. Thats good, I don't want to be smaller, so this is great!! I have no regrets, and I'm deliriously happy that I made this decision, and I am so enthused that I walk up on conversations about weight loss and give my input to others. I also give them my surgeon's info. I have regained the some of the nuscle mass, from when I was a serious gym rat, yeah!! I always loved to shop and I am still on that kick, I have so many thi gs in my closet, some from when I had my lapband and thought that I would get to this size with tht, but I didn't make it I'm there now, whooo-hooo! So I really do shop in my closet, so many pairs of shoes, my new shopping thing is probably belts, I love to show off my waist and my flatter tummy with low waisted jeans, so I'm a should I say it, a somewhat vain, ok wjo am I kidding I was this person all along. The only thing that has changed about me, is I'm a lil self-concious now when am naked with my man, I've become somemwhat inhibited and shy, its not just about the long boobs either (lol).

I'm PATHETHIC, sorry!!

Okay, Im pathetic cuz I never update my blog even though I'm always on the site. Today, is December 19, 2008! I had my 44th birthday 11 days ago, at this time I'm sick with Strep throat, and I've lost down tp 166 lbs. some of this due to the strep, belive it or not my Mom says I look like I weigh about 140, get outta here, Ma!! As you know I went thru a phase of its not coming off as fast as others, yeah deep down I knew that Dr. Jawad told me that would be one of the downsides of the revision, so I stopped sweting it. I started trying to run again. I felt this could help me tone up those glueteus maximus muscles that I so crave. Then, it got cold, brrrrr!! I know that I can maintain running either at the gym or on the track, so I'm going for that tight body that looks so good on others. I'm not a hater, I'm a serous congratulator, can you tell me how to do that, I hope to look like that. So with that in mind I'm always trying to "GETRDUN" I think the problem with a lot of us is the fear to ask someone, for help or their advice. I find that people really don't mind offer solutions and suggestions!! So to get back on point 166 and a size 10, or some 8's. 3 month check-up

I had my 3 month check-up today, all is well! I weighed 177, everything is great, I need more iron, I was only taking one tablet daily, instead of two. The B-12 was up, due to me still taking a sublignal every now and then. This was in addition to giving myself the shot monthly, so I'll cut that out. From the beginnig of my surgical weight loss journey I have lost 45% of my extra weight. I started this last year at 222.4, so I'm very thankful for this site and you wonderful people that let me into your lives. Thanks friends!

Slow n' steady!

Well, I'm 21 days out from  my revision and RN-Y. I've lost 15 lbs, the good thing is I know that the weight has no choice, but to come off at @ any pace. The bad thing is, dang is slow!I knew that it could be b/c of the 1st surgery, so wish me luck!

Six days to go! After, staying at the hospital with someone who we've shared procedures, last year I had the LB, then a week later, she did. Monday, she had the revision and RNY,  and now I'm following her by a week. Keep us in your prayers, WLS folks.......
