Well where to start. I know should have been blogging over the past several years and especially the last few months. I hope to start making it a habit. I have started the search for my life once more, being turned down twice because of my psych. eval. I was starting to feel as though I should face the fact that I would never live without being tired and sick.
In Feb. of 2007 I finally received a call from Dr. Velcu office, it was Robin calling to make an appointment to meet with Dr. Velcu. I was so excited, they say the third times a charm. Maybe it is because this time I passed the psych. eval. So far I have finished all of my appointments and work ups and passed them all, only thing left for me to do is to be put on C PAP machine and see what the cardioligist wants me to do seeing I have takin a 64 slice CAT scan of my heart and the results were unreadable because they couldn't get my heart rate down to 60 bpm and keep it steady. Then I can get all my paper work and results together and take them to Robin so she can send them into my insurance (Anthem Blue Cross/ Blue Sheild) for approval. I hope to have gastric bypass in the next 3 to 4 months and get started on my journey.
If there are any others that are near me and plan to have surgery around the same time, I could sure use a partner. And to those have already started the journey to their new lives, I would love to hear from you. I could use advice, support, recipes and anything you can help with to have me even more prepared for surgery. I hope to keep my blogging regular, wish me luck and to all of you others I wish you much luck.
