I called Molly today to touch basis with her on my approval status. She told me that she had everything that she needed from me and it was just awaiting game at this point. I doing my best to concentrate on losing this 10lbs and not focus so much on my approval.  However, it is very very hard.  I've been going through different magazines and thinking about the new things I am going to buy once I lose some weight. My best friend is going to Hawaii in November and she has ask me to tag along. I couldn't help but think about how I would look in November. OMG! I am so excited.    

I really need everyone to pray for me. I am getting so anxious. I had a terrible dream last night. I had a dream that Molly called me to say that the insurance had denied me. I was so disappointed. I hope that I am worrying about nothing. I guess I am ready to get this over and done with. So please pray for me that everything goes smoothly for me please. Thanks....

I say Dr. Enoch today. I was a quick but very interesting visit. He went over all of my labs and told me what my surgery status would be. I am so excited now. I just need for my insurance to hurry and approve me. Then my date can be set. He put me on a low carb diet until surgery. I had gained 10lbs. He didn't like that at all. I was on my period so I know it wasn't really 10lbs that I gained. Anyways...I have to meet with him one more time before surgery to sign some consent forms. He told me that the weight better be gone. So ....I have to get started today.

I am officially done with all of my meetings and doctor's appointments. All I need to do now is wait to meet with the doctor and try to lose 10lbs in the process. I am hoping to have the surgery after the holidays. I would love to have it maybe Jan 3. I'm not sure...but I haven't heard anything from the insurance company. I don't really understand how it works. Hopefully...I can find out from Molly or Holly this week. 

TODAY I HAD MY MEETING WITH TAMMIE MOORE. I TRULY ENJOYED THAT MEETING. I CAME AWAY FROM THE MEETING FEELING INSPIRED AND UPLIFTED. I ALSO CAME AWAY FROM THE MEETING KNOWING THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE SURGERY. THIS SURGERY REALLY EFFECTS YOUR EMOTIONAL STATE OF MIND. ALOT OF CHANGES COME ALONG WITH HAVING THIS SURGERY. I THINK PEOPLE ALWAY HEAR ABOUT THE PHYSICAL CHANGES, HOWEVER THEY GIVE NO THOUGHTS OF HOW IT CHANGES YOU EMOTIONALLY. IT CHANGES HOW PEOPLE TREAT YOU AND HOW YOU TREAT YOURSELF. IT CHANGES HOW YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE LOOK AT EACH OTHER. MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TOGETHER AND I WAS SO THANKFUL FOR THAT MEETING. I THINK HE ENJOYED IT MORE THAN I DID. SHE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO EVERYONE. SHE WAS A TRUE BLESSING TO MY HEART TODAY.  

So much has happened in just on month. I have had all of my appointments, except for the pyscho. appointment. I have that one this Friday. (11/17/06) I am so excited to get all of my appt. out the way. Now I just have to come up with the rest of the money for Dr. Enoch fee. Anyways, I have to tell you about my Lab appt. I thought I was going to die. It was terrible. I had to drink this terrible white stuff, so they could see the inside of my stomach. It was awful. I kept gagging. I couldn't wait for it to be over. My stress test was fine. All of my appt. came out very well. I was glad that I didn't have to do the sleep study. So....after I met with Mrs. Tammie Moore, I am officially done!    

I have my first appointment tomorrow with Cary Cardiology. I am so excited. Please wish me luck. I would love to just speed up the process a little.
