"My first impression of Dr Mitchell was he really knew his stuff...LOL I first seen Dr. Mitchell at an Informational Session January 2006 and I felt like he and I were the only two in the room and everything he was saying was directed to me...Like he knew me and my struggles with weight and is senserely concerned about me. I also felt he was very serious about this life transforming proceedure and if you weren't you need to look else where for a surgeon, but you become part of his family (sorta speak) if he perform WLS surgery on you.... As of this date, 12/14/06, I haven't had a consult with Dr M, and have been dealing totaly with his staff and everyone is great....patient, friendly and understanding..even if you are overbearing ...like I know i've be some days throughout this journey but at no time did I feel like they were ready to throw the phone at the wall if they heard from me one more time!!! LOL Dr Mitchell stresses this is a life long process to be successull and aftercare is very important!!! He wants to know your doing good...also there is support meetings every month that he highly suggest you attend if able... I haven't had a consult with Dr M but I total trust him already and I don't want any other Bariactric Surgeon performing this surgery on me except him!!! So I would definately rank him high at this point..."
