16 mos out - still working, just slowly
Mar 03, 2009
okay - things have slowed and stopped but with some dedication they do start moving again...I haved learned how to maintain that is sure - just not ready to maintain.
173 now
that is 140 lbs. gone...
still would like to make it to 153...I know, I know I said 173 would be great but...with summer coming I think more lbs. gone would not be a bad thing
okay but here is the deal - it is getting harder and the scale does move alot and sometimes not in the direction I want but I have learned that I can quickly get back on track and make the scale move back in the direction I want. I usually fluctuate between 2 and 3 lbs. and never let myself go more than 3 lbs. up before I start getting back to the basics. So I have learned that I have to cut back on the carbs - I am loving crackers and find out that if I don't watch it I can eat 1/2 a sleeve of saltines in a day, more than 3 days of this and the scale goes up. So when getting back to the basics I cut back on the crackers and pour on the h20!! Yep, everything we already know to do but we fail to do it!!!
but I do get to enjoy food again - just got back from a cruise in Jan. and I was able to enjoy everything that everyone else was eating and drinking, I just had less and was totally happy with that. I even lost weight on the cruise - and really, who gets to do that!! I had creme brulee and other fabulous desserts, lobster and steak and sushi - yep sushi is back. I pull most of the rice off but I still get to enjoy it!
I am loving what this tool has done for me but know all to well that if I don't keep on track and watch the scale that it can come back.
