I can eat only 1/2 of 1 scrambled egg, I can eat 2 Full fried eggs or 1/2 of 1 boiled egg.  Why is this?  It's the same protein and texture for the most part.  Just curios if anyone else has this problem?

I'm 99% certain I'm "Hypothyroid" but my doctor says my TSH came back "NORMAL"!  Out of the 300 + symptoms I can certainly say I have almost ALL of them.  Anyway I'm seeing an endocrinologist in 3 weeks for further testing.  Just looking up medications and seeing absorption issues with synthetics.  I had a VSG coming up on 5 years ago and I still deal with absorption issues with my vitamins.  So any others out there hypothyroid with a VSG?  I'd like to know what you take...successes or failures.  Thanks

I have been a member here for awhile now and have been wanting the surgery but couldn't get insurance to pay for it! So now I am a self pay! I don't want to have to go through all of the Psych evaluations etc. I'm not crazy, I'm not addictied to food, I just cannot lose weight. I have tried everything, pills, potions, chants under the moon, trances, hypnosis, you name it I have tried it. I would lose maybe 2-3 pounds but thats it. The only time I have ever lost a significant amount of weight is when I was pregnant. I lost 25 lbs. during pregnancy and 25 lbs. after while I breastfeeding. Of course that caused my gallbladder to fail and now it needs to be removed. Just can't win can I?
I wanted to have my surgery local but now I am 98% sure that
I am going to be going with Dr. Alvarez! Now I just have to get financing. Wish me luck!
