I finally made it under 200#'s.  Life is great right now.  I'm losing my weight and I filed for divorce, and I've never been happier.  Hello new me! 

today is march 23rd and I scheduled an appt for this Fri to go see an atty to file for divorce.  I'm hoping it will all go smoothly and he doesn't contest to anything.

March 9th was my big day and I was very nervous and anxious, and it didn't help with the fact that i am an ICU nurse on the other side being there as a patient.  anyway, i have made it home and i'm doing well.  not to much pain, but trying to get my fluids down.  Last night was my first night home and I felt so weird, and was almost scared that I left the hospital to soon.  Every time I closed my eyes i would see these visual hallucinations, and they were there if I opened my eyes/  Anyway, I decided to go get some water and that really helped out a lot and I was able to fall asleep.  weird, but glad it worked.

Well my surgery is a week from today and I'm nervous and STARVING!!!  I go tomorrow to sign all of my consents and talk to the surgeon about any concerns that I have.  Most of my concerns are about my personal life not the surgery.  I'm basically a single mother of 2 wonderful boys and thank god my parents live right next door, but my husband lives in TX now for his new job.  We have been having so much problems the last few weeks and he wants a divorce.  So I won't bother you with all the depressing details about that, but I've just been so down about that, that i haven't even been able to get to excited about my surgery.

Is there a bunch of idiots working at Tricare or what?  I called today after working all night to check the status on the letter sent by my surgeon (I don't want to aggrovate the surgeon's office).  Well they told me that the letter had been received but they needed more info, and faxed it back to the surgeon and received it back.  So as of now it's waiting on someone's desk for approval.   Well here is the frustrating part, Tricare is telling me that I was ineligible for benefits now because I'm married.  My husband was the sponsor, and got out last month.  I faxed the application for cobra and paid the $2000 enrollment fees.  So after speaking to them and DEERS, then back to Tricare I got it all straightened out.  Why does this have to be so dam difficult????  So now I'm just hoping that someone will approve it next week so that I can schedule.  In the mean time I think I will take a break from New Orleans and leave during Mardi Gras and go to the mountains in Gatlinburg for some fun in the snow.

I just found out today that I'm enrolled in the continued health care coverage through tricare and that my letter for approval was sent yesturday.  The surgeon put mid-Feb as a surgery date.  So, hopefully I will hear something early next week.  Keeping my fingers crossed and praying that I get approved.

I faxed the new application including everyone for the family coverage for tricare cobra.  I will pay the $1063 this week too.
Oh, and I forgot to mention my washer machine broke last week!  So thats something else I have to replace.  I gues I'll be working overtime this week.

I was hoping to have my surgery early Feb., but with all of this it looks like that won't happen.  I'm praying that once my insurance is taken care of it'll get approved quickly so I can schedule it. 
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE LET IT GET APPROVED!!!  I NEED EVERYONE'S PRAYERS THAT I GET APPROVED.

i called tricare today to check on my application for cobra, and they tell me that it is still pending because I selected individual coverage and I was suppose to select family coverage.  I spoke to 5 different people and they all told me that I could select ind. coverage for $933, and now that I paid the $933 they are telling me that the sponsor must be enrolled before I can be enrolled so I have to do the family coverage which will cost me another $1063. 
I am so devastated.  I just want to scream.  AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
