On my 40th B-Day 12/13 my weight was 220. I lost 100 pds, what a wonderful present to myself. I thank God...........

Jan. 9th will be 6 months. I feel awesome. I've gone from a 5x shirt to a 2x shirt. From 30 pants sz. to 24 pants sz. Wow. 

I have alot of energy. I almost forgot what energy was.

To my friends I'm sorry I haven't been on lately because my computer is down. My son will be home this wk-end to try and fix it or at least take it to get it fixed. I'm over @ my brother's house today and he let me use his computer. I will get back on as soon as possible. Take care...........

I'm home..... surgery went well. I had some problems with my bulging disk on my low back, I was in severe pain when I woke up, I guess from laying flat on the operation table. As far as pain in my stomach, haven't had any. Just wish I could pass some gas...... 1st time I ever wished in my life that I would pass gas. Thanks to all who left me a comment on the surgery page. I could really feel the prayers during this ordeal.    

Paise God, tmrw is my day. I'm soooooo siked, everyone keeps asking me are you scared, Not yet, I've waited for this day for a very, very long time and also I know my Lord will carry me through this.  I just don't know how to explain my feeling except overly joyful....................   

I can't believe my day is almost here. I'm sooooo looking forward to a new heathlier me. I've got to be @ the hospital at 6 am and surgery at 7 am.  

We had a wonderful Church Camp. I got back Sunday then left out Monday for vacation. I just got back yesterday. My husband and I went 1 day to Cherokee, NC then we went to Nashville, TN to visit our son for a few days. I had a wonderful time. But, boy when I got back last night I was wiped out. Now I got to rush around and get everything done that I want done before surgery.  10 days out..... Man, I'm panicing not on surgery but, everything I need to get done. My pre-Op is Monday 7/2 with the surgeon 9am and Hospital 11:30 am. I've been watching the Father & Son surgeon team WLS show on TLC. My husband said how can you watch that, I'm curious and I want to know everything I can about WLS. A good book I read and purchased is WLS for Dummies. It is detail and very helpful.

Oh my gosh only 20 more days until surgery........ I'm so excitied. I'm still on a high from the news of my scheduled date. Prayers answered......... Just proves with God by your side, you can do anything! Exercising @ Curves, Boy I'm wiped @ 30 minutes. I crawl to my car, crawl into the house into my recliner. But, it will be worth it.  Make me stronger for surgery.    

WooHoo I got a date. Monday 7-9-07. I'm so excited. My Lord has answered my prayer. OMG I can't believe I've finally got a date. Oh yah soon I'll be on the losing side.  What a wonderful blessed feeling to know it finally is going to happen. I've just having amazing week. We've had VBS @ Church this week. God's Sprit has been flowing, 10 got saved.      

Yoo-hoo. I got a verbal clearance from Dr. Santavicca. I'm so excited. :) I couldn't wait to get into the hall to let out a shout Thank you Lord. Dr. Santavicca was so nice and quickly put me at ease. Dr. said my surgeon will have a written clearance letter this afternoon. I wished I went to him first instead of trying to save gas and went here locally. Oh yeah, Oh yeah I'm soon to be on the losing side. Thank you all for your prayers.  

Yeh, I go Thursday 5-31-07 to Dr. Gary Santavicca for a 2nd psych. evaluation. Oh Lord I pray please let him clear me for surgery. My health condition's are getting worse. My niece Lisa and I start Curves workout tmrw. I know just as soon as I'm done I'll have to come home and take some pain meds and go to bed. But, I've got to put forth the effort to show I'm willing to do whatever it takes to do this surgery.
