Thanks so much for your support Judyanne - it sure means a lot to me. Thankfully a lot of my friends have gone through the surgery and so I know exactly what to expect - aside from everyone is different. My biggest goal is to lose enough to fit into a bikini by Christmas 08! We are taking the kids on a vacation. I am excited, elated and just ready to get it over with. You hear so many bad stories about after the surgery and how people gain the weight back, but I am one of those determined to make it work. I can't wait to be a person that kids won't make fun of because of my weight. I just wanted to say thanks and let you know that I appreciate all the prayers and thoughts! This will be the birthday of the new me! Shanon

Tuesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else.
