Well today I am going to see my PCP and wanted to check in with Brianna before my appointment because my PCP needs to write up a letter for my daughter so I can get help with childcare while I am recovering so I wanted to see if I could get a date today so I wouldn't have to go back.  SO Brianna called me back and I have a tentative date of March 24, 2011 and I am so happy right now yay!!!

With that said, I just read someone posting on the sleeve message board about her being in the surgery room and she had a hernia and the DR. wouldve done the RNY for her if  she couldnt do the sleeve and the lady said no.  First off I loved the fact that she knows what she wants and doesnt want, but my first real reaction was OMG I wouldve had them do the RNY.  Here is why, I was suppose to have RNY like five years ago with Kaiser and I lost my coverage when I changed jobs and now I am having the sleeve done through Alta Bates and yes they do both but after talking to the surgeon he felt I would be a great canditate for the sleeve so I told him yes, when I went to thier seminar months ago even before I had coverage I was interested back then in the sleeve so when he said that I was happy.  I say all that to say this.  I wouldve went with any one of those.  I am so tired of being fat and need help.  I have never had second thoughts or anything like that I don't want this burden that yes I put on myself and without help cannot keep it off.  I truly believe that without any type of tool I can't make it I have tried and failed and I aint afraid or embarrassed to say so.  Matter of fact I was totally thinking about not getting the sleeve and going with the RNY but I will make it with either one.  I really hope that was the best decision she couldve made for herself and she will one day find out. 

Well everything went fast and well with the endoscopy this morning.  All the nurses were very nice and excited for me and my upcoming surgery.  Now I am just waiting for a call too choice my surgery date, YAY!!!

Morning all it is almost 5:30 am and I am so excited right now I had to come online and post before I start to get ready for my endoscopy, This is the last thing I have too do before I can get a date.  I have to be there at 7:00am so right after posting this will be going to get ready.  Baby is at my sisters and I am picking my friend up to go with me.  Well write laster bye for now. lol

Well hello to those who may be reading this.  I havent updated in a minute but I am always lurking on here, but it is time to update.  I was having big issues with coming up with the 2500 I needed as my out of pocket cost for the surgery so I was under alto of pressure.  I can now say that GOD has made a way right now for me to have the surgery and it is truly a blessing.  I go have my endoscopy tomorrow and that is the last thing needed so that everything can be sent to my insurance for apporval.  Brianna is sthe nurse in charge of getting my paperwork together and submitting the paperwork and she said that she should be calling me on Monday to give me choices of dates for the surgery, how will I make it through the weekend lol.  I am getting so much closer to truly restarting my real life.

Well I had a dietician visit today that was boring as I don't know what but that means I am closer to getting my surgery.  The meeting basically just focused on post-op stuff since I told her I was doing really good on the pre op stuff.  Everything was the same nothing new.  Afterwards I went upstairs and asked to be weighed and I am down 3.5 more pounds so by the 8th the of 3 pounds should be gone, so I totally expect to get a date right on that day or before the weekend because everything should be down by then yay!!!  getting closer and closer.

Hey all who choice to read this.  I don't have anyhting new to say but I understand that it may be someone who is looking at my page for a update.  Last time I weighed in found out I was only 4 pounds away from the goal my doctor set for me to get a date for surgery which is great, but I am thinking about slowing down a little because of not having the money but I don't really want too but I havent made up my mind as of yet.  I have a appointment with the dietician tomorrow and I will probably get weighed then and will update.  Well when something comes up I will update toodles for now.

Well my Endoscopy was rescheduled my new date is for March 9, 2011.  I found out today that I couldve gotten a date today because I am so close they wouldve went with that but because everything has too be done no date.  I am going to be thinking about this all weekend long and probably till I go to the appointment on the 8th.

Today I went to my diet and exercise class which is apart of the requirements and while there I asked to be weighed and I am only 4 pounds away from the goal I needed to schedule a surgery date.  YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just writing something I don't have anything to update really but want to make sure I post and stay updated.  I have a nutrition and excerise class tomorrow and I will be getting weighed.  My endoscopy was rescheduled to March 8 and I go see the dietician on March 1. 

I am doing good on my diet 2 shakes and a meal, but since I didnt follow it this weekend I am not looking to have lost any weight I am praying I didnt put it on either but I am prepared to it just in case, I will be dissappointed but I will understand.
