"Dr. Bruce performed my RNY surgery on June 18, 2010. I have lost about 120 pounds so far and I am super happy that I decided to do this and have him do the surgery. I went to the seminar at the end of January (I think) and in February I met with Dr. Bruce. My first impression of him was that he was a very nice, and caring person. He listened to everything I had to say and if I had questions he answered them. Even if I didn't understand something he was more than happy to go over it again and again until I understood. Still today he is the same caring person that he was in the beginning. His office staff is extremely helpful and nice also. I had some problems after the surgery and his nurse was very helpful to me. I am so glad that I chose Dr. Bruce to do my surgery and if I had to do it again, I would choose him again. His bedside manner is excellent. I did not see him after my RNY, but he did my gallbladder removal a few months before and I saw him after that and he was very nice. Dr. Bruce lets you know in the beginning that this is not a miracle cure and you have to work hard to get where you want to be, it is nice to know that he is on your side rooting for you to succeed. Like I said before I am very glad that I chose Bariatric Specialists and especially Dr. Bruce for my surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know."
