Nothing has changed, with my band, but there has been a lot going on. my husband and I have had SO much illness, in the last 7 months, it's incredible~! I'm still maintaining, with my band, sometimes going up, like 3-5 pounds, as I ate a lOT of junk foods, when my hubbby was in the hospital, for so long. However, it came back off. 

Now, Michael, is in a nursing home, permanently, and I have moved, to a Senior place, and just love it! have had three health issues, but am still plugging along. Hope you're all doing well!~ 

I can't believe I haven't updated, in almost a year! All, I'm doing, is getting older! ha
 
As far as my band, it's fine, I haven't had a fill in so, long, I know it's been over a year, but I'm holding at 155-160, and if I cut the carbs, I can lose, as few, however my doctor wants me at 160. I eat almost what I like, but make healthy choices, MOST of the time! Ha So, I consider, myself VERY fortunate, and a success. I do LOVE my band!

My family is just fine, the grandbabies, are of course, getting big, and our little family is my life. Michael, is holding his own, but of course, is losing a little everyday. That is my dH, and he suffers from Dementia, and I, care for him. We do the best we can. We are moving, in July, so that will be quite an endeavor, but he is looking forward to it, and it is very close, to where we are, now, just a different suburb. I am confident, it is a wise, and, even more convenient move for us at this time. 

So, nothing exciting, except, our new Bandgrads, board! I LOVE it, and ALL of the people, connected, with it and our Bandsters. OH, has a great crew, and have helped me SO much, in getting everything up and operating! I was honored to be the Group Leader, and Chelle, and Nancy, are wonderful, and who I asked for! So, that's my update, you all hang in, and I hope, you all have terrific, Band journey's!   

Well, it's 5 days, later, now, and our new board, is up, and going, strong! Have to say, it has been exciting, getting to this point, but I think we are finally content! I'm doing the "Happy Dance," too!~

Morning, everyone! I haven't updated in a long time. Well, I hit my goal, of 160, and went down actually to 149, an my doctor told me he set my goal at 160, and I didn't look healthy at 149, so to GAIN! WOW, I never dreamt, my doctor would tell me to GAIN weight! ha So, now with a few more carbs, I am at 155, and told him, that's IT! No more! lol He got a kick out of that!  

Other than that, my Dear Mother passed this last Dec., 2 days after Christmas, the circumstances were not good, and the State just finished an investigation and  I will call my attorney back, next week, so that will take some time, for sure! I don't care how much money we get, I don't want ANY other person, OR family to go through what we did! I could go on for hours about that! 

My son, Rob, and his wife, Michelle, are doing fine, and their 2 babies, are of course, amazing! ha  Our grandson, by Michael's youngest daughter, Jayden, has a rare blood cancer, and is undergoing Chemo, and is only 16 months old, so that is heartbreaking, and SO many of you have said prayers for him, and we appreciate that, more than you'll know! 

Michael, my DH, has Lew Body disease, a form of Dementia, and is unfortunately getting worse, so I stay busy, caring for him, that breaks my heart, too. I also, partially care for, and help 2 friends who are ill, and have no close family, I cook meals for them, and run errands, when I can. With all of my other friends, and church, I keep VERY busy, and all of you, my family on OH, are extremely important to me! More than you know! I am SO blessed, with a loving family, and so many wonderful, caring friends. I guess, that's all this time around!

Well, I'm back! I just wanted to mentionI just turned 61, and have had a VERY interesting life so far!  By the way, I had 2 fills after my first 6 weeks with my band, and then nothing for over 2 years! It was just fine! So..this last July, I figured I needed a small one, so went, and since then, I've had 3 more little ones! I found out today, that my Ins., won't pay but any but the very first! I had no indication! Now I have to work that out! Each on was $285! ha   How about that one! With God's help, we'll persevere!Have a good evening, and will talk to you later! I suppose this should have gone on my Blog! lol

I hope this is what the "BLOG." is for! I'm so glad to be back on the site, I can't tell ya! A lot of new faces, and some remembered. The band is a wonderful thing, and if I can ever help, just let me know!

Hey, guys! Just a quick update! Well, hope you all have a fun, safe 4th of July! We moved my mom up here, from In., last week-end! Boy, what a job! From one home, to another! She did real well on the long trip, and her new Associated Living home, is just a beautiful place, and everyone SO nice! She has dementia, and a lot of other big illnesses, but is 88 years old, and still holding her own! I've gone everyday, fixing up her room, and she kind of knows who I am, now, I think! So, I've had a LOT of stress, and know I will be getting another fill on the 14th! I can eat too, much, and I've not been real careful, and gained like 5 pounds. I still have 5 to go to get to 160, and that is where my doctor wants me, so I'm not too, worried, I just don't personally want any more! ha It's too easy, this way. Another fill will help, I'm sure! So, I leave my mom, and come home to my dear Hubby, who also has dementia, and it gets to be a little much now and then. So, if any of you have a prayer laying around, please use it for me! I know that's why the Good Lord, let me survive all of my illnesses, so I could care for them, and that's fine. So....again, you all take care, and until next time, ENJOY EVERYDAY!

Hi again! Just HAD to tell you all, I don't have to see my infectous disease doc, anymore! Pray that infection, is gone for good!!! Also, I'm going to be a Grandma, again! Dec. 9th! I hope Joey gets a little sister, but a bouncing boy, would be just perfect, too! We're ALL so excited! Hope you all have a great week-end!!

Hiya, guys! Just a quick note, to let you all know I had my first fill since 9-04! I still had 2.50, of 2.75 left, so she just put in .25, to bring it back up! Seems to be my "sweet spot!" Sould be just fine! Michael is doing good, saw the endocrinologist, and have to have two more months of blood tests, to make sure of what they suspect. The thing on his neck is gone! So, we're going day by day, and NOW enjoying the beautiful weather here, in Wi.! Everyone have a great week-end! Oh, I weigh 150 on the nose! Doc still says I should be 160, but we'll see! ha

Hi guys! Just a quick note to update a little. Well, Michael is better, however, the dementia is getting worse. He now has a condition of the cornea, also, so is on drops for that. I'm doing everything around here, and all of the driving, and I love it, but it sure wears me out! ha I feel so bad for him, I just hope I can continue to help him. I'm at 145 now, and my doctor wants me at 160, as he says I look too, thin! How's that for a hoot! ha I need to update my picture on here, the one by my posts is more accurate. So......you all take good care, and I hope all is well!
