Well where should I start? I am 39 yrs old married to a wonderful guy and have a beatiful little girl named Shaylee she's five. I have had a weight problem all my life. My mothers side of the family are all heavy and I guess I took after them! Just my luck! Of course I have two sisters and one brother that are skinny, they took after fathers side! I have lost weight a few times but just to gain it back and then some. I have a cousin who went and had the RNY done so shes a big support for me. I searched on the net for some time about getting the Lap Band done. I have had all my tests done and went through the six months of dieting now I'm just waiting for the approval from ins. I wish they would hurry. 
Well I got my surgery date for Jan 30th and I can't wait, I decided to go with the RNY so now I have to research this more.
