I started dieting when I was 14 years old. I had poor eating habits, and was not a really active kid, but I was not in the least bit overweight.  However, after several years of dieting on off I got that way.  After children, I was obese.  I dieted and worked out really hard, and lost a significant amount of weight over and over again.  I met and married the most wonderful man in the world.  I wnet through a severe depression after losing my dad. I also developed fibromyalgia, which made it difficult to exercise the way I had in the past. finally, I decided on wls.

My surgery was on August 25, 2009.  My weight at that time was 249lbs. The first six weeks were awful, terrible, and horrible.  I was miserable. I couldn't tolerate protien shakes or chewable vitamin. i was an emotional wreck.

Now, Jan 2010, I'm down 60 lbs and I feel great.  I found a protien powder I like, and I can swallow vitamins. I'm starting to enjoy cooking again. I don't do alot of side items anymore.  Our meals are mostly protien.  I'm just starting to exercise (better late than never).  My fears now are...... everytime I hit a plataue (sp?) I think the weight lose has stopped. Also,  I'm always concerned about stretching out my pouch.
