I thought I better start keeping track of what's going on with my post-surgery journey. I have a feeling that these are the days I'm going to want to remember in the future.
I woke up this morning feeling absolutely great! Lots of energy and not too sore. It was wonderful to sleep in my own bed last night after my sister brought me home from her house where I was staying after the hospital. I posted yesterday about not being able to sleep and received lots of encouragement from the Cali forum. Thanks to all. Last night, it was a little better although Logan, my boy dog, was also happy to be home and back on his (my) bed. Of course, my half was more comfortable. I couldn't figure out why I was so hot until I realized I had a dog sleeping on top of my legs. Oh well...
Now, for the drum roll..... 14 pounds down! I am in shock, awe, and disbelief. The old me is waiting for it to come back immediately. Isn't that terrible? But, today, I actually started talking about having to buy new clothes someday. It is becoming real. And the buyer's remorse is just about over as I'm feeling better.
