Wow!! I can't believe it has been 10 years since my surgery! I am healthy and still going strong. The one tip I will stress to newbies (and old-timers) is to take all of your vitamins EVERY day so you will not develope complications. Since my surgery the main thing that I did with my life that I couldn't do before surgery was to go to college (couldn't fit in the desk chairs). I graduated and am now an RN. I work for a pediatric home health care agency and I love my job!
