Surgery is coming up quickly!

As with many others here, I have struggled with my weight for many years. My biggest problems came from not losing the post-baby weight, having thyroid problems, and the rolloer coaster diet routine. Each time I diet, I would hit a major plateau and then gain back even more.
My family is supportive, but not in the same town I am. I have a follow-up sleep study and endoscopy left to do for pre-op. My surgeon is very thorough and I appreciate that. 15 different tests to pass beforehand. My surgery is scheduled for November 11th. I am excited, but also concerned about post-op, getting all the supplements in, and figuring out how to eat correctly.
There is no insurance coverage, so the process has only taken about 8 weeks. Since it's all money out of my own pocket, I feel additional pressure to make it work this time. I struggle with self-doubt about my success. But with God's help and my family....I will succeed!
