Hi Shirley and first of all congratulations!! You and I had our surgeries on the same day:) A few days ago, I started having some yucky discharge from my incision (sp?).. right at the very top. It looked like white puss and yet it left a yellow discharge on my gause pad. So I called my Dr. His nurse immediately asked if I had any pain in my legs and then asked if I had a temp. I told her no to both (don't you hate those surgical stockings?) Anyway, the Dr asked me to come in the next day. he took one look and said I was fine.. there was a stitch just under the surface thats all. He also sugested that I change my teflon coated cover to a plain gauze pad so that air could get in there.. Thats my experience, but I would def call my doctor!! Besides it got me in to see him a week earlier and he moved me on to the next stage of eating and told me I could take off the damn stockings!! Well, its time for Law and Order!
