Sweet 16 and all grown up!

2021 is 16 years of post op life !

I have updated faithfully all of these years, and this year, it's all gone--at least I can't find it. I feel so let down! I'm hoping that after I post this, the old posts will magically reappear. 

anyway, as I was looking for this (and my profile), I see that there are a lot fewer people as the years get closer to the present. This makes me wonder: are fewer people having this surgery now? If so, why? 

i have a lot to say about this, but I want to test how this looks as it posts.
