25 years post op!
Jan 31, 2026
I am celebrating 25 years post surgery! Not much has changed for the last few years. I am still around the 143-145 mark. It seems impossible to lose the 10 pounds I want to lose. I'm still within a normal BMI range but I would feel better at 135. Why is it so hard to lose 10 pounds?! Does anyone have any proven tips or suggestions?
I wear a Fitbit everyday and it helps me to stay active and achieve my goals. On January 30, 2001, I had a biliopacreatic diversion with a duodenal switch in Alcoy, Spain from Dr. Aniceto Baltasar.
So overall for the last 25 years, I'm still very happy that I've been able to keep off almost all of the extra weight!
It's true, nothing tastes as good as thin feels!
