My name is Sondra J. Sigmund. I have been a member of OH for a long time now. My old profile was deleted for some reason so I am starting anew.
A little about me.
I am married to the man of my dreams I have 2 white toy poodles that are my children and a black and white kitty kat.
I live in the White Mountains in Arizona and right now(12-9-09) we have about a foot and a half of snow on the ground coupled with ice.
I am a full time college student working toward my degree in Substance Abuse Counseling with a minors in Social Work. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society of two year colleges and a member of the national dean's list.
I had RNY on March 20th 2006 in Flagstaff Arizona with Dr. Berger and Dr. Aldridge. I had no complications from the surgery and when I started the journey I was 375 and a size 28-30. I am now down to around 240-250 not sure I haven't weghied in awhile I could be a lot lighter I never know.
I am a size 16 currently and happy with where I am at.

I am 35 years old and as I said a full-time college student. My DH is 42 and getting ready to start on his Phd Jan 3rd. he is disabled but like me a college junkie. Wow, I just looked and I've been a member for four years on this site and it has helped so much in my journey, even before I had the surgery. When I went to my surgeon's seminar they mentioned OH there as a wonderful resource tool for people looking to get the surgery.
My sis in law had the gastric band done in Tijuana and she seems happy with it.
