"Dr. Villares was awesome. He explained 5 different types of surgery that are available, the pros and cons of each. He then proceeded to ask which one I wanted and following my answer gave me his suggestion. We both agreed on the VSG. I never heard of it until my consultation with him on 6/4/07.rnrnHe went into great detail by drawing pictures of each surgery (before and after of the stomach) and explained all the risks related and the weight loss process with each.rnrnI can't honestly say I had one area that I did not like. I found the office staff to be friendly and very helpful. I had to call back and ask for prices and they faxed me at work within 20 minutes!rnrnThe Dr. still encouraged me to attend his seminar that I am scheduled for next week. My consultation with his was to follow the seminar, but he had an opening and his office called and scheduled me sooner. He told me the seminar gives most of the info he just discussed, but he still wanted me to attend it.rnrnI would have to say the only negative thing would be overkill. If you are a person who doesn't like too much detail, then you will have to tell Dr. Villares to shut up!!rnrnPersonally, when someone is removing and reshaping my internal organ, I want details. Call me crazy.rnrnI will give more info about his bedside manner following my surgery in September, 2007."
