A change in dates

Ok today I had to go to the hospital that I am having my surgery to have a cat-scan because when I had my pre-op testing my Xray showed a mass on my lung so they wanted to check further to make sure everything was ok before my surgery.
Well everything is ok the mass was just a scar from something that happened to me when I was a child. So originally I was to have my surgery on Monday July 20 but I guess my doctor admin assistant made a mistake on the date she gave me she wrote the 20th when really it was set for Tuesday July 21st. So now instead of July 20 being my surgery date it will be the 21st. Just wanted to let everyone know. I am sooooo excited can't wait!!!!!

Insurance Approval!!!!!

Finally I got it my approval for my surgery. I did not know if they were going to come through on time for my surgery but they did. My surgery is on Monday July 20 and I am soooooo excited to do something great for myself and my family. God is so good I just want to give him all the Praise and the Glory. Well here we go a new journey in my life and I can not wait.

Well I went to the doctor on June 30,2009 for my visit before my surgery and I got a set surgery date for July, 20, 2009. I go for my pre op on July 14, 2009. I am so excited and my husband and children are also even though I am still very nervous I guess it is because I really don't know what to expect. I am kind of wondering what will happen prior to surgery I know I have to do some prep before but I was not yet told what it would be. I guess I will find out when I go in for my pre op what I will have to do.
I am so ready to start my new healthy life and to become a healthier person not just for me but for my kids. I am excited to go do things with them that is a bit difficult now like roll a coaster rides. Kind of silly huh?
This surgery to me is not about getting skinny to look cute it is about being healthy for me and for my family I want to be healthy so I can be around for my kids when they go to college, get married and have kids. I want to be the best and healthiest mom and wife I can be....
Not much longer until my date 16 more day until the new Sherry begins her new life on a track to healthiness.....

Start of a journey

I finally finished my psych evaluation and I am excited because I got a tentative date for July 21, 2009 praying that the insurance goes through ok and I get approval.
I am so excited I should know something soon because I go to the doctor on Tuesday June 30,2009 and I will find out for sure about my surgery date and what else to expect... I am so excited about this new journey in my life and the changes that I have already started making.
