Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 89 pounds!!! Good luck!

I went to see Wendy this afternoon. She's doing FANTASTIC! She's in some pain....but looks great. She's still in ICU and they talked about moving her into a room tonight. She's hoping they'll keep her in ICU since she's enjoying the 1 on 1 attention from the nurses. She passed her leak test this morning. Most likely she'll be going home tomorrow. Let's continue to pray for a speedy recovery. Theresa

Hello everyone. I'm Theresa...Wendy's angel and friend. Wendy had her surgery early this morning...Monday, March 15. Her husband Steve has been with her all day. I called her house and spoke to her mom's friend. Tony said Wendy made it through surgery fine. She went in very early this morning and was out of the OR by 9:30am. Thank God she's doing fine as of this evening. She's still in intensive care. Wendy said she'd feel better if they kept her in ICU longer....instead of going to a room. I hope she's comfortable and happy with her care. I'm going to call Wendy/or her mom tomorrow...and visit her on Wednesday. I'll post again when I find out more information. Let's keep her in our prayers tonight.
