I had surgery on May 14, 2010 in Reno Nevada, I have had a weight problem since the 7th grade, tried every diet in the book or known to mankind, would lose, regain, lose regain.  My health started declining, back, knees, and I am not getting any younger so I decided its time to do something about it. I am down apprx 40lbs from the start and feeling so much better. I am 2 weeks post-op and yesterday my husband and I hiked 2 miles around Burney Falls, it felt so good.  My knees did not bother me nor my back, awesome.  I would recommend this surgery to anyone that is obese and of course my doctor, Dr. Kent Sasse, Western Bariactric Reno.  I have a goal that I will be down to my proper weight by November 2010. I will be putting pictures on site as soon as I figure out how to do it.  My family is so proud of me.
