So...sleeved on March 8, 2011 and now almost 3 months later. I am enjoying the advantages.  Shortly after surgery i started having horrible stomach pains - mostly while drinking anything.  Eating was super difficult and painful.  I lost so much weight (40 lbs in 1 month). I was basically anorexic.  Finally, i went to the E.R. with these pains.  Besides the pains, i was dehydrated (duh, it was painful to drink) and I had low potassium. They admitted me and started fluids. They seemed more interested in the dehydration. But, finally they did a swallow test and an endoscopy and found that I had ulcers.  Ouch!  So, after many meds and 3 months, I am eating normally and enjoying my food again.  I eat pretty much anything I want.  Salads are still kinda hard and I still don't do chicken very well.  But, I am happy with the way things are going now. So far, I am down 47 lbs. I would like to lose another 31 lbs.  We'll see. I am mostly happy to be feeling better and eating again.
