Got That Psyc Exam...this time

Well I finally got it. Dr. V. O'Brian was the doc and he called me and did the exam over the phone.
As I live 80 miles out of Nashville, he had sent me the 300+ question test & I filled it out and sent it back. After he had studied it is when he called. We talked for about 45 min. He asked me all kind of questions. In the end, he declaired that I wasn't crazy (My words, not his). So now all I have left is 5 week's of my Dr. supporvised diet and I hope I get a quick approvel from my Ins.

Psych. Exam Today!!!!!!!

I had an appt. for my psych. test today that my PCP had set up for me. Well I got there & had to fill out pages & pages & pages of paperwork. When the Dr. called me in he say's " I.m sorry, I don't do psych exams for WLS.
OOOOOK.
So I have concated 2 other Dr.'s, neither will accept my ins. one want's $650. the other want's $450. NOT!!
I can't afford that. I'll just have to keep calling, even if I have to call every Dr. in Tennessee.....

Well, today I made a trip to Nashville to the Metabolic Surgery Center at Baptist Hospital. Done the seminar thing with Dr. George Lynch. I liked him & his staff. I went prepared...gave them my 5 yrs. PCP records, My PCP letter of recomendation. Had my stress test on Monday & Psyc. exam next Wed. will have to fax all those to them.
I am sooooo tired, drove the 85 miles this AM in FOG so thick, ya had to slice it to get through. On the way back it poured the rain, got held up for 30 min. from a traffic accedent on the interstate.
Going to rest awhile.
