Julie D.
My story began in November 2003. I have been trying to have WLS since that time with 5 different insurance companies, hitting the 'exclusion' brick wall with every one. Last summer, I was even told that I had benefits, went forward with pre-op testing only to be told later, 'Oops! Our bad, you don't have WLS benefits after all.' I hired an attorney, but it did no good. Now I have benefits and my surgery is August 6, 2007 after being delayed twice. Well, that is my story in a nutshell. My old profile was REALLY long, so I decided to condense it to this. Thanks for visiting!
