Pamela Katekaru

"Pam is a true angel and I feel blessed that she has helped me (and is still helping me) through my surgery. She came to my room every day to check on me. She didn't just check on me, we had conversations about lots of different things. I can email her and always get a reply back the same day. She called me after surgery to check and see how things were going. She truly cares, I think that is what makes her so good!"

North Hills Hospital Bariatric Surgery Center

"Wonderful experience from pre-op to discharge. The nurses, RT, PT, and lab staff were wonderful and understood the needs of the bariatric patient. Any question was quickly answered, any need was taken care of immediately. Everyone was so friendly. There was one guy in particular who made my day...he was my respiratory therapist on surgery day and he stopped by my room on the second day. I got my spirometer because I thought he was there do do my breathing exercises with me and he said, 'I'm not assigned to you today but I just wanted to see how you were doing.' Everyone was like that, just over the top regarding patient care. A+++"

David Kim

"I went to my surgeon's seminar and liked him a lot. His office is different that others that I've seen because he waits until the insurance has approved surgery before seeing his patients for the first time. I am ok with that because he has seen all of my medical records and he doesn't have to see me face to face to know my medical history. I do know that Kathy in his office is a sweetheart. I will update this if I'm approved for surgery and get to meet Dr. Kim and his staff in person."

David Ostransky

"Dr. O knows his stuff! He is board certified in sleep medicine, pulmonology AND internal medicine. He takes the time to listen to you and is very kind and easy to talk to. He has even wrote a letter to my insurance company telling how WLS will help my severe sleep apnea."
