Fight the ultimate monster

Jun 15, 2026

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all doing well, wherever you are at in your own weight loss surgery journey. Whether you are recovering from surgery, waiting for a date, or still trying to figure out the first step, I am sending you so much love and strength today.

As for me, I am still right here in the thick of the research phase. I'm taking my time to look into the absolute best surgical tool that can help me at a weight of over 500 pounds. To be completely honest with you all, it is a scary and heavy place to be. I am looking for a tool because I desperately need help to get my life back together.

The hardest truth I carry every single day is that I don’t want my kids growing up without a mother. They are my absolute world, and they deserve a mom who can run, play, and be fully present for every single milestone without being trapped by her own body.

"We have to keep pushing because we deserve to live the life we were truly meant to live."

I’ve always been a huge fan of horror movies, but the truth is, I am currently fighting the worst horror movie character of them all: **food addiction**. Unlike a monster on a screen, this is a villain you have to face multiple times a day, every single day. It controls your thoughts, steals your peace, and tries to lock you in a nightmare.

But even in the middle of a horror movie, the main character has to keep fighting to see the dawn.

I just want to remind everyone out there who feels overwhelmed, defeated, or stuck: **we cannot give up.** The road is long, the research is exhausting, and the weight is heavy, but our lives are worth the fight. We have too many dreams to chase and too much love to give to let this addiction win.

Keep reaching for the best options, keep looking for the tools you need, and never stop fighting for your future. We are going to get our lives back.

Stay strong, stay brave, and keep moving forward.
