My name is Jessica and I am 28 years old. I live in Michigan and I am a teacher in Lansing, middle school language arts. It is a very stressful job, as it is my first year teaching, and that is hard to deal with as well with the band. I have two younger sisters and my mom. I have been overweight my ENTIRE life and am looking forward to being "normal sized." I had lap band surgery last July and am in serious need of support. I am new to this kind of thing, so please add me if you think you would be willing to talk about your experiences and hear about mine. I am still trying to find a good balance with the band and get sick from certain foods sometimes and not other times, which is very frustrating. I just want to be healthy and happy as I'm sure most of you do as well!
