WoW, I can't believe it!

Sep 29, 2007

Ok,when I first had the surgery, I knew I would lose weight, but it is really hard to catch up psychologically with the transformation I've been going through...
I'm 154 lbs. and still losing. 4 lbs. from goal. WOW! I'm in a size 8 and small tops, some mediums. The "small" is weird to me--and almost an out of body experience, lol. Especially since I was a 22/24.
Thank you GOD for this surgery!
And thank you GOD for this website!

What a difference 6 months can make!

Jun 13, 2007

I'm 179lbs. this morning!!! That's a 81 lbs. loss and my BMI went from 43.3 to 29.8!
I'm so excited! I feel great, tired sometimes, but my job is stressful. I'm going to day shift soon, and I'm hoping that my body will tolerate a normal wake/sleep cycle much better.
I can't wait to see how a BMI of 25 looks/feels like!
For now I have left the "Morbid Obese" realm and entered the ranks of the "Overweight"!

Almost 4 month out

Apr 10, 2007

What a difference 4 months can make!
I'm down to 197 Lbs now and I feel great! I have lost 63 lbs sofar, and I have gone down from a size 22 to a 14.

Many ppl at work are amazed by my weight loss, and cheer me on--and I love them for that!
I'm just so glad that this summer I will be able to wear "normal" clothing and not feel like a freak anymore.

8 weeks out

Feb 10, 2007

Ok, the last 8 weeks flew by really quickly. I have lost 36 lbs. since surgery, plus the 7 lbs. I lost pre-op. That's 43 lbs. and counting.
People are starting to notice but I'm just glad to feel better! My wardrobe is getting too big but I will hold off on buying new stuff until I have no other choice--i can't wait to buy stuff based on loving it, rather than fitting into it...
Still having a really hard time getting all my fluids in. I often feel dehydrated and don't really know why it is so hard for me to get the water/fluids down?!
I saw Dr Chapman tuesday and he told me that I will be under 200 lbs. by the next appointment. Wow, that would be wonderful!
Well, life is calling. Until next time =)
