Hey All! Well alot has gone on , since the beginning of this year, one including our wedding! :) It was a beautiful day, and I felt so good, about where I was at.  I have about 20-25lbs left till my goal, so I am soooooo happy with life! :)  The energy I have, that I didn't before, is just amazing!  Hope everyone is well! 
Some notes about my band, I got it tightened back in Jan/Feb, and haven't had to anymore since, and I am still tight, which is great, this must be my final , where I will be comfortably, it doesn't take much to get my full, which is good.  I was at a stand still for a while, well actually, I was losing inches, and not the weight, since I was in the gym, so I was gaining muscle, and I couldn't go with what the scale was saying. But I will take the inches, for sure! I am a size 15/16 now.  I'd like to end at a 12/14, so I am almost there.  That may still be big for some people, but not me, just right :)  Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! I will try to be back on sooner, than later. :)

OK people it's been one year since my surgery! and WOW! It has been an amazing year.  I couldn't see the weight loss so much, I meant I knew it was there, with my inches and weight, but I see myself every day.  But when I looked back at the picture from a year ago! WOW!  In the past year I have gone from 260 pre surgery....245 at surgery.... and now 195..... so I have lost a total of 65lbs in the year, which is unbelievable! and 50 since surgery..... I went from a size 22 to a 16 now, going on 14 soon :)  I have my wedding coming up in June, so I still have my last 35-40lbs to go :) hope I have do it, but coming up on 4 months away,. than means 10lbs a month, so I will settle for another 20-25 :)  Hope all is well with everyone else! :) 

Yep, Got my 2nd fill last night:) Wooohooo..... I have been out of work for the past 9 months.  So when I finally got a job, I had the money and insurance to get back at it... I am sooo excited... I'd like about 40 more lbs... I am getting married in June.  Yep I am engaged.  So I have 6 months to get 40lbs off.... Hope it can happen, I'd party like there is no tomorrow!!!! :) Hope everyone is well... :) Have a merry xmas and a happy new year, I know I will!!!

Hi Everyone.. hope all are well, I am sorry It's been forever since I've written.... Well since Surgery In January... It's been a journey, for sure... I am at the point right now, where I am losing inches, which is good, but not the weight.. I got to the gym about 3-4 days a week... so I am gaining muscle... So it is hard for me to go off my weight now... which is a bummer... but that is ok ... I am down to a size 16 now... which i was a large 20, into 22, when i started, so this feels great!  I will attached some new pics, that I have from recently.  Good news is, I got a new job.. so after about 9 months of being off work, I go back on monday... Can't wait!! It will be easier for me , to keep up a healthy eating schedule, and I get insurance back.  I haven't had insurance, since the end of January.  So I will also have more money, so I will be going back next month, or December for another fill.  Which will only be my 2nd fill.  Since I got laid off, I couldn't afford to get my fills, I would have liked.  So I was a little slower at the progress..... But all will be good now :) Hope to hear from you guys.... I will be back sooner now.... again, sorry I was away so long..... :) 

Well I went on thursday to get some more saline added to my port.... When I got filled a couple weeks back, it wasn't enough.... But now it is good...I've been fuller longer, that is for sure... so it is good :) love that!!! :) It's only been two days, and I can tell the difference, so hopefully I will be back on the track of losing more pounds.  With going to the gym 3 days a week, I think i am gaining muscle now, so I can't go by the scales anymore... LOL... have to just go by my measurements.... oh well!! :)

So last thursday I had my first fill.... I hadn't noticed much of a difference this week, and I still get hunger pains, and urges...So I will be calling tomorrow, to schedule to get more added.  They told me to watch for this, so I was aware it was a possibility.  My doc put 4cc's in , but I guess I need more.  So when he adds some more, hopefully, i wont have cravings anymore, and hunger pains.  Those are tough..... :) But I am still 30lbs down, and super thrilled, But I'd like to be down another 30lbs by May, so we will see.  I've been working out, 3 days a week... which has felt SO nice... I feel so much more energy.  Anyone else have this problem after a fill?

Hey all!!! Well it has been a while since I've wrote on here.  Since surgery, I am recovering nicely, the scare isn't too bad.  I am coming up on a month in 4 days.  I am excited to take my measurements.  I have an apt for my first fill on Feb 26th.  I am excited about that  I went to a gym today, and joined.  I did alot of cardio, since I can't do weights yet.  When I go to my doctor, I will see when I am cleared for weights. :) Can't wait!!! Well other than that, not much else.  I am eating well, getting more hungry now, but if i snack, I snack healthy.  I know once I get my fill, those hunger pains will go away.  Then back to losing some more weight.  :)  I booked my trip with my man, to California, for May.  For our anniversary, so going to work on getting sexy for then! :) Big Celebration time! 

Hey all!! Well surgery was friday.  Everything went well. I got in around 7:30am... then surgery was around 8:30am... Everything went smoothly, turns out, they found I had a Hiatal Hernia also, so they took care of that.  I had to stay the night on friday, due to bad reactions I was having to the anestia.  I was feeling very nasteous.  So saturday I came home, was very tired, so slept most of the day, then watched some movies.  It's been much better each day, sleeping is hard, cause I am use to rolling around in my sleep, but it's getting better.  It is hard for me to just sit around, i always want to be up and doing things.  I got laid off my job, last weds... just in time for surgery, so I have plenty of time for recovery now!  It's for the best.... so I will be going back to school , while I look for a job and recover.  :) Hope all is well with everyone!! :)  Oh and the Liquid diet is going well also... :) Pureed foods start on saturday!! yeah!!! :) 

 Well this morning I had my Upper GI, that was interesting.  The Barium that I had to swallow, was gross!! But the good part was, it didn't last long, and I got to see the screen, and watch all the stuff slide down and around my stomach.  Well it is day 5 of my liquid diet, and it's going pretty good so far.  I think I will be fine, until next friday. I was getting a little nervous when I was sitting in the hospital this morning, but I was ok, once I talked with the doctors and such.  I am getting soooo anxious for surgery to finally be here. Can't wait for my adventure to begin!!! Happy New Year everyone!!!

I am soooooo excited!! Went to the doc today, they did my upper chest xray, took some blood, and EKG.  I scheduled an Upper GI for next tuesday morning, that should be fun.  But most importantly, my surgery date is set!!!! woohooo!!! January 16th.  I start my 2wk liquid diet on friday. YIKES!!! So needless to say, tomorrow and thursday, i will be eating/drinking the last of my year away..... Goodbye to the old, and hello to the new!!! I am soooooooo excited..... Nervous too, but trying not to think about that.  :) Hope the 2 wks goes by fast... hope i don't get too cranky.  :)
