My name is LaVonna. I am awaiting my gastric bypass surgery. The date is set for March 25th. This date was set back in September, due to preexisting clause in my insurance policy. It has been a long wait . The closer to time the more I think about it. On my mind 24 / 7. I pray everyday that something doesnt happen and ruin this life changing chance. The company my husband works for talks about closing down everyday. That terrifies me. No insurance, no surgery. But I know God will take care of me and whatever happens , happens for a reason. Anyway mor about me. I work for Department of Corrections. I work in records, doing paroles , tranfers , furloughs , etc. I have been married for 20 yrs with 2 children. My daughter left for college back in Aug (about killed me) and my son ins 15. I have been overweight all my life and I dont want to die this way. I want to see my children marry, I want to see my grandchildren born, I want to live.
