And down 142 pounds!

So I am doing well in regards to weight loss. I am down 124 pounds in a little over 6 months post-op. However, the past three weeks I was feeling pain in my stomach. It did not matter if I ate, or did not. It hurt all the time. I went to the Doctors and they admitted me into the hospital where it was found I have a peptic ulcer. I am now on a ton of medication to try and heal it. And I am afraid to eat as I am not sure what will go down a bit easier then regular food. Ugh what a journey this has been..

So I weighed myself last night. I am officially under 300 pounds for the first time in 10 YEARS! I am at 298.5 pounds! I knew having the surgery, I would lose this weight between the tool and my efforts. But at the same time it feels surreal.. Guess it was hard for me to believe that I could actually do this!

Well in two weeks I will be going for my 3 month checkup. So far, everything is going well. Although I am very tired as of late for some reason.. I have lost 83 pounds thus far, which is amazing! I just cannot wait to get down in the 100's! Some foods agree with me, while others I absolutely cannot handle or stand. Will post more as time goes on!

So my RNY went textbook! However 2 days after being released I ended up having VERY loose stools..(If you get my meaning) so the DR sent me to the ER to get tested for C-DIFF. Which thankfully I did not have.. But my White Blood Cell Count was elevated.  Was sent home but by the next morning I was VERY nauseated and started vomiting.. Mind you, I was on clear liquids and had not eaten in a week.. So by the time I went for my Post-Op the PA admitted me into the Hospital as I was not doing well at all.. I had lost 30 pds in a week, for a total of almost 70 pds Lost!! And my blood levels were VERY low.. Spent a few days in the Hospital and came out today feeling much better.. Hope there is no more problems! Fingers are crossed!

Well in little less then an hour, I am on my way to the Hospital!! Very nervous, but glad I am accomplishing one of my many goals!! Wish me luck!!

Well, tomorrow is the day!! I am very nervous, but elated as well! I felt like this day would NEVER come!! I have to do the Bowel Prep in a little bit (not looking forward to that! LOL). I will post on here when I come home and feel well enough to be on here!!

Well I saw the Surgeon yesterday who is doing my procedure on the 21st! He gave me the go-ahead with the surgery. I also had my PAT's as well. So for the next 4 days, I am drinking MediFast Shakes, and that is it. Then it is time to continue on my Journey of getting back my Health!!

After these two, longgg years, I have finally received my surgery date! My life will be changing permanently for the better on May 21, 2013!!! I am elated, but nervous!
