I can hardly beleive a year has gone by... I am wearing a size 5!!! I will be having breast augmentation. Everything else is good. So many changes to name, but the best thing EVER, besides loosing the weight has been that, I have met the man of my dreams, he is great!!! Treats me like a QUEEN!!! I have always been Beautiful, but now I really feel it. Looking forward to what the rest of my life will bring. Possibly, marriage in April. Roderick.........I love you!!!

Okay well, I know I have not posted for a while...so many new changes has occured in my life since my surgery. All for the GOOD!!! I have lost a whole person pretty much...125 pounds. I am wearing a SIZE 8!!! OMG!!!! I am now single, which means my husband left me after my surgery. But dont feel bad for me, LIFE IS GREAT!!! I have all the confidence in the world, and I LOVE LIFE. I am working out out almost everyday, running, eliptical, arm weights, and leg lunges. I am fortunate not to have much skin to be removed, but I will be getting the girls done. Wow how they have shrunk. LOL. Anyway, I love this tool, and I am so GRATEFUL FOR DR.KRAHN.. LUV YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Well just 2 days ago was my 1 month date for my wls. i am amazed at how good I feel. I have lost a total of 55 pounds. I already had a slow week last week, but when I went to see Dr. Krahn, Brian his PA said not to worry, and that I am doing great. We talked for a little while about a lot of different things, that I had questions about. I am so happy I made this life change. I cannot wait to see what else is to come.

Yesterday I had my 2nd apppointment since my WLS, and everything went great. I have lost 20 lbs since having my wls on 11-26. I am looking forward to so much more. I am happier than I have been in such a long time. I know I still have a long ways to go, but I am so Thankful and appreciative to my doctor, Dr. Krahn and to the Lord for helping me to go through this. I am excited to see the changes in me, in all aspects of this new life. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!
14 days since my WLS

Today it has been exactly 2 weeks since my surgery. I am soooooo HAPPY that I have this new tool. I am grateful to my Surgeon, Dr. Krahn....he is awesome. Even though since surgery I have had some minor set backs, I feel great! I really hated to take the pain meds because, i felt sick, but I came to the realization, I will not feel better, if I am just laying around in pain. I am up moving around more and even got out of the house today. The sun felt good. I really need to focus on drinking more everyday. I am starting soft foods. So far, I have tried; refried beans, cottage cheese, tuna, soft scrambled eggs, and protein drinks. I dont like the taste of crystal lites, so I have only been drinking water. Since my surgery day, I have lost 18 pounds. Total 45 pounds. I am really happy! :)

I had my surgery on November 26th. I do not recall much about it other than waking up in a lot of pain. I had a week long stay at the hospital. Everything went great with my surgery, I had some swelling the next day when I had to go in and have my upper gi done. I am happy to be going home.
Pre-op Appointment and class

I had my pre-op class Last Friday, everything went great. I will have to have my gallbladder taken out. I have had a hard time sleeping and I think it is because this is all getting so real. It seemed like forever getting all my appointments and now that it is here I am nervous. Trying to get everything in order so my Husband will have it easy, while I am in hospital and recovering at home.

My appointment with the Dietician went very well, she explained the surgery with me again, and went over what I would be expecting during my stay in the hospital. She talked about Vitamins. I will need to take liquid. Multivitamin, B12, Biotin, Calcium citrate, and Iron. She metnion not totake Iron and Calcium at the same time, because they compete. I will also take COQ10,and Omega 3.

Debi at Dr. Krahn's office called me this morning and said they had a cancelation. My surgery date is scheduled for NOVEMEBER 26, 2007. I also have my Dietician class today.
