well I have finally finished my option classes at Kaiser finished all my labs, chest xrays, ultrasound of my Heart, you name it I have finished it according to the instructors of the classes I should have my authorization in approx. 2-3 weeks I can hardly wait. so far this journey has taken me 8 months to this point hopefully it will come to an end soon and I will be a Loser for life. I am so ready I have already begin changing my way of life the way I look at food now I find myself reading everything on the labels cal, fat, trans fat you name it I am reading it from a-z I have started drinking the protein every morning, just before I take my thyroid meds, one hour later I take my multivits, and from there i take everything else that I will have to take but I take them according to the way you are supposed to take them if you are post op one thing I found out so I had to double up on the Iron is that I am anemic so I have to take it 2 times a day 325mg so that is 650 mg aday, but I am so happy I have lost 13 lbs in the last 2 months and I am going to continue to loose until surgery. well I will upday you more as I go along on this journey and I hope you continue to send your prayers and joys my way

Well I have completed class 21 only 3 left to do, on april 13 I completed all my labs, my chest xray and my ekg. according to my instructor and also according to Member service you authorization is complete only thing they are waiting for is you PCP to sign off but he/she does not get their paperwork to sign off until you have completed all your classes and I am complete on May 9, I called dr Suh office today and according to his sect. if they have all the paper work I could be looking at surgery around the first of June. if everything is okay.  Yahooooo. I know I have been told by several Kaiser members who had the surgery that Kaiser will send you a denial letter well I asked that question and per member service and I had them put it in writing if you complete the 24 week classes you are approved the letter also states that if you were accepted in to the option classes you were automatically qualified for the surgery there is no way that we will have you go 24 weeks and not allow the surgery so I am happy I am counting the day/months

Well today is not a good day for me or my family, today we loss a very vital person to our family. I loss my grandma today she was 90 years old the back bone to our family. Now that she is gone I really don't know what to do I know that my family must go on I know that we have to move on and I also know that she (grandma Frankie) would not want us mopping around and crying I can just hear her now "stop all that crying and get out of here and go do something" but you know itis so hard to move forward when it someone you love so much. I want to thank everyone on the cali boards and also the BAF boards for all your prayers and wishes. I hope to get through this with lots of prayers.  thank you all.
